The Spanish Supreme Court annuls a father's decision, written in his will, to disinherit his daughter because of their lack of relationship over the years and her abuse towards him. The Court decided that there was a lack of evidence of this.

This Court explains that there is no proof of mistreatment or that the lack of relationship between the two, admitted by the daughter, can be considered as psychological mistreatment or unjustified abandonment, contrary to what the Provincial Court of Madrid had previously held.

It says that it should have been proved by the woman who was the father's partner after they separated in 1989, and who was instituted as universal heir, who did not appear in the proceedings. Read more
