The complaint accuses the President of the Government, and each of the Ministers, of committing reckless homicide, for each of the victims present in the complaint.

So far, 3,268 families have expressed their desire to file a complaint, but except for the 116 families that have come forward today, the others have been denied the Medical Certificate of Death, which is necessary to file the action, and have been given a period of several months to provide it, according to the lawyers.

The complaint, as explained by the lawyers in their text, could be extended to other crimes, such as omission of the duty to assist, prevarication by omission and against the rights of workers. It could also be extended against other persons, such as Dr. Fernando Simón, as a necessary collaborator, for spreading "misleading information" through the media. Read more
