Spain's main telecommunications operators, Movistar, Orange, Vodafone, MásMóvil and Euskaltel, have agreed to update their code of ethics for commercial calls with the aim of increasing control over these actions and thus increasing consumer guarantees.
This agreement has been updated to improve the reputation of the sector and is a great step forward because, at last, commercial practices that are annoying for users will cease. These companies will not call at break time, they will not cheat with false price increases and they will not insist when we reject an offer.
To ensure this improvement in quality standards in the sale of their products and to comply with the protection of consumer rights, several obligations have been established in this new agreement.
