Minister Escrivá has assured that the government is prepared to carry out a regulatory change so that parents with children who have not been diagnosed with Covid-19 but have been in contact with a positive one and are therefore in quarantine, have the right to paid leave of absence to care for them.
Although he has specified that they must first talk to social workers next week.
"We need to listen to the social agents and then yes, we are prepared to introduce a change in the regulations", said Escrivá at a press conference on Friday 4 September, together with the Minister of Employment, following his meeting with the social agents in Palma.
